Women the strong pillar

Just a reminder to our ladies … while the disciples of Jesus were representative of a strong male presence … for a reason … we should not forget how Jesus and His disciples survived as they went dorpie to dorpie spreading the Good News (the Gospel).

Now I want to add that the team/entourage didn’t survive on Grace and/or in the manner God supported the Israelites through the wilderness. Jesus and these men of God had to see a way to survive.

Now, I should think this was very deliberate of God that He did it in this way. This follows the pattern that He confirms in (1 Corinthians 10:11) “…Now these things happened to them (old testament people) [as] an example, but they were written down for our instruction [today], on whom the end of the ages has come”. Now again this confirms that He just doesn’t do things “just for control” (willy-nilly) but is very intentional, much like what I am explaining about the survival of Jesus and these men, we are today expected to follow the pattern as set by Christ and His entourage.

In comes the woman, let’s fast forward to Luke 8:1-3 “… Also, some women were with him. They had been cured from evil spirits and various illnesses. These women were Mary, also called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out; Joanna, whose husband Chusa was Herod’s administrator; Susanna; and many other women. They provided financial support for Jesus and his disciples”. Now this revelation is based around this verse and to Prophecy to our women in- and out-side of the gospel, to waken a giant in them, to ignite in them an explosion so violent that it will shake the face of this race for generations to come.

Just to backtrack a little there, Jesus and the unnumbered entourage (His Ministry) had to eat daily, 3 BALANCED meals a day, now I would imagine, for 3 years and beyond. Now let’s be mindful of the situation of the day, there wasn’t any McDonald’s, Nandos or even KFC drive-thrus. Which none of these are even considered today to be a balanced diet to ensure you stay strong while you walk from town to town. Next question is what we’re they wearing, I don’t think the toughest pairs of SALOMON or CATERPILLARS, would survive more than 3 years of walking (Some food for thought there). Now the intention is not to bring doubt or bring rise to any sort of debate but to bring recognition to the strong role that the woman plays in our gospel.

Now being part of the revival church leadership in today’s context. I have witnessed the lack of presence by women in the structures the higher you ascend. Now this may well be for many reasons that I will not discuss, but we should at the same time recognise that since the dawn of the revival church in its modern history, we have seen a strong presence of women in the church, just not enough representation within its opened up structures. With that being said.

Let our local Mary’s, Joanna’s and Susanna’s and many more rise to not only labour within the structures ensuring that the gospel goes town to town and person to person. Let our women become strong financially to fund the gospel on an “equal footing” (IMO) with men, much like the women who supported Christ’s Ministry financially in those days.

We have today replicated Christ’s Ministry to the T and we have headed His call to ministry in the 5-fold. I call on every Woman, the Strong Pillar of this Gospel should rise and emerge victorious to take up your rightful position in fighting the good fight for Christ!

I greet you all in the name of the Lord God Almighty the Most High!
